The People Behind Tieman’s
Tieman’s began as a small, hands-on effort to make better coffee for everyday life.
From the very beginning, John, Heidi, and their families were deeply involved in every part of getting the product off the ground and into people’s hands. In those early days, it meant wearing a lot of hats and figuring things out as they went, driven by the belief that care shows up in the final product.
For a long time, orders were packed and shipped out of Heidi’s home, with coffee stacked from the front steps through the living room to keep up with demand. Those early logistics were scrappy and personal, and they shaped how we think about showing up for customers.
As the business has grown, the day-to-day operations have changed, but the way we approach the work has stayed the same. We still believe in staying close to the process, taking care of the people we work with, and treating every customer interaction as something that matters. Tieman’s continues to be built with intention, shaped by real people who take pride in what they’re putting into the world.
